FAME's group instrument classes introduce kids to piano, flute, and more in a collaborative, low-pressure setting.

Your child learns alongside peers, builds confidence, and discovers the joy of making music. No private lesson pressure required.

What Are Group Instrument Classes?

Group instrument classes at FAME are small-group sessions where kids learn the basics of piano, flute, and other instruments together. Instead of one-on-one instruction, kids learn in a supportive group environment where they can watch, listen, and grow alongside peers.

Our classes are designed for kids in grades K-8 and are divided by age so instruction matches each group's developmental level.

  • Happy Keys: Piano 101 (K-4th): Introduction to piano fundamentals for our youngest musicians
  • Octave Above The Rest: Piano 102 (5th-8th): Intermediate piano technique for growing musicians
  • The Toot Flutes: Flute 101 (K-4th): Introduction to flute fundamentals
  • The Whistling Wonders: Flute 102 (5th-8th): Intermediate flute technique

Learn in a Supportive Group Setting

Kids build confidence faster when they're not alone. Group classes create a safe space to try new things, make mistakes, and celebrate progress together.

No Practice Battles at Home

We don't require mandatory home practice. Kids develop a love for music naturally, so practicing feels like fun, not a chore. (Though they often want to play more!)
