You want your child to thrive.

You recognize that having trusted adults who can pour into them is valuable. Yes, you want the educational benefits of music lessons, but you also want a space for them to learn more about being a good human.

Music lessons at FAME give kids something no app can: a skill that grows with them, a creative outlet that's entirely their own, and a relationship with a mentor who genuinely invests in who they're becoming.

This is what we do at FAME. That’s why we're here.

1-on-1 Private Lessons

Every lesson at FAME is built around one kid, yours. Their goals, their taste, their pace. Our teachers don't follow a script. They follow your child.

Voice Lessons

Your child already has a voice. We help them figure out what to do with it. From healthy technique to navigating vocal changes to finally nailing the song they've been singing in the car for months, voice lessons are where self-expression becomes a real, living skill.

Piano Lessons

There's something about sitting down at a piano and making music that never gets old. Kids start with the fundamentals and build toward playing the songs that actually matter to them. Because that's what keeps them coming back.

Flute Lessons

There's a reason the flute has been around for thousands of years, it's one of the most expressive instruments a person can play. Kids learn breath control, tone, and technique in a way that's methodical and deeply rewarding.

Guitar Lessons

Acoustic or electric, beginner or beyond. Kids learn chords, rhythm, and the deeply satisfying feeling of playing a song all the way through. Join the waitlist, and we'll let you know when we're ready.

Why Parents Choose FAME for Private Lessons

A Real Relationship

Our teachers don't just show up and run through scales. They learn your child — how they think, what lights them up, and how to bring out their best. Week after week, year after year.

No Practice Guilt

We don't assign mandatory practice or send kids home with a checklist. In our experience, kids who are genuinely enjoying what they're learning want to play. That's the goal — not obligation, but love of the thing itself.

No Auditions. No Pressure. No Judgment.

Your child doesn't have to earn their spot here. They just have to show up. We'll take it from there.

Teachers Who Actually Care

Our instructors are experienced, talented, and deeply invested in the kids they teach. This isn't a side job for them. This is their calling.

Consistency Without the Chaos

Same day, same time, same teacher — every week. We keep it predictable so it actually fits into your family's routine and your child always knows what to look forward to.

"FAME has been a wonderful experience for our family, and Mary has been an incredible director and mentor for our children over the past several years.

We have been so impressed by the positivity and encouragement of Mary and the entire staff, who hold kids to a high standard while always remaining compassionate, supportive, and deeply respectful of where they are in their growth.

They have created an environment where our kids feel safe, challenged, included, and ultimately proud of their efforts."

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

Scroll down to view available times and register through our parent portal.

What is the commitment level?

Private lessons are by the semester or week-to-week.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. Semester lessons will be scheduled before Aug 28. A la carte lessons must be scheduled no sooner than 24 hours in advance.

Will my child need to practice at home?

No mandatory practice! Students at FAME develop a love for what they do, so they rarely feel like they have to practice; they want to play at home! Like anything, you get what you put into it, but the goal is intrinsic motivation, not running out a clock. We do not shame a child for not practicing.

What ages do you teach?

Private lessons are available for ages 5+.

What if my child wants to try multiple instruments?

That's great! You can book lessons for different instruments. Many kids start with one and explore others over time.
