About the event

These classes will be donation-based, in-person classes gathering money to support local underfunded music programs in public schools. This will provide an opportunity for music teachers to get supplemental funding for instruments and enrichment to enhance their programs. It will be an honor to contribute to the flourishing of music education!

In-person at FAME

Encore Music Hall is very special! There are large garage doors that open and loads of space in this well appointed theater. The nature of this space will allow for distancing, fresh air circulation and students are always welcome to wear a mask, but this is optional.

(To sign up for each class, you will need to reserve a ticket for each class. Come as often as you can! This is offered for just 6 weeks!)

Yoga Asana Class:

Asana means relationship to the earth. We will be doing different postures in relationship to the earth. In this 60 minute class, we will do grounding and breathing work alongside and intermixed with various yoga postures connecting movement and breath. There are numerous health benefits to yoga and the main goal is to prepare for meditation. While it is completely possible to enjoy this first 60 minute yoga class on its own, you will be in just the right mindset and body feel to move into meditation to follow. Note- it is possible to sign up for just the yoga or the meditation class!

Meditation Class:

Each 30 minutes class will shuffle through practices like breath and pranayama work, dharma talks and connecting within through stillness and mantra. Note- it is possible to sign up for just the yoga or the meditation class! Check out an example here-
